Ottawa: Tragedy struck Montreal as three individuals, including a teenager, lost their lives in a stabbing incident during a brawl reported by local media. The altercation, involving at least 15 individuals, erupted in an alleyway on Rachel Street, between Saint-Andre and Mentana streets in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough, on Wednesday around 7 p.m. Montreal police received multiple 911 calls regarding the fight.
As per reports, the suspect(s) managed to flee the scene before law enforcement's arrival. Montreal Police confirmed that the dispute was not linked to organized crime or gang-related activities, as reported by CTV News.

Regrettably, the confrontation resulted in the fatalities of three individuals, one of whom was a 15-year-old teenager, according to a report by Xinhua news agency. The deceased were reportedly involved in the altercation.
Montreal has witnessed a surge in homicides, with seven reported in the past ten days alone. These recent deaths mark the city's 14th, 15th, and 16th homicides, as per information provided by CTV News.
