Diverse women from sectors like health and sports convened to discuss the notable achievements of UAE National women in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE.
The session served as a precursor to the Fatima bint Mubarak Motherhood and Childhood Forum on Mental Health, scheduled for October 10, 2024, in Abu Dhabi. This forthcoming forum aims to facilitate a comprehensive discourse on mental health issues pertaining to motherhood and childhood, with a specific focus on children, adolescents, families, and women. It endeavors to foster community-based solutions, exchange experiences, discuss policies, and enhance collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

The EWC program's objective is to equip UAE National women with effective training, continuous learning opportunities, and professional guidance to support their aspirations across all sectors. It empowers them with the necessary skills to excel personally and professionally.
Her Excellency Rym Abdullah Al Falasy shared insights from her experience in the public sector and leadership role within the council. She highlighted the influence of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, emphasizing her pivotal role in empowering UAE National women and supporting their rights and roles in sustainable development.
Her Excellency underscored the council's strategic initiatives for the current year, particularly highlighting the Fatima bint Mubarak Motherhood and Childhood Forum on Mental Health. This forum aims to further initiatives supporting women and children, contributing to the cohesion of UAE National families and nurturing future generations.
She emphasized the importance of empowering women and enhancing their skills to impact mental health on individual and collective levels. The UAE stands as a global model for women's empowerment, offering ample opportunities for leadership roles across various fields.
The session featured discussions by Dr. Beatrice Hinkel on self-leadership, Nirvana Yahya on women's multifaceted roles, and Ahd Shehab on the correlation between physical movement and happiness hormones. Additionally, Shaista Asif, Group CEO of PureHealth, highlighted the mentorship program designed to aid UAE National women in achieving their personal and professional goals.
The EWC program aims to engage UAE National women in diverse areas such as sports, poetry, medical program development, and community initiatives. It prioritizes self-efficiency development, offering tailored coaching and mentorship to enhance participants' skills and attributes.
