During his time in Riyadh, General Al-Burhan took part in key discussions focusing on strengthening regional stability, promoting peace, and fostering economic cooperation within the Arab and Islamic communities. The summit also served as a platform for dialogue on political and security concerns affecting the Middle East and beyond, with representatives emphasizing collaboration in resolving ongoing conflicts and addressing humanitarian issues.
A Royal Protocol delegation was present at King Khalid International Airport to bid farewell to General Al-Burhan as he left Saudi Arabia. This delegation’s presence followed the formal protocol extended to high-ranking dignitaries visiting the Kingdom. It underscored the importance of Sudan's role in the region and the diplomatic relationship between Saudi Arabia and Sudan, especially in light of Sudan's ongoing political transition following recent upheavals.
General Al-Burhan’s visit to Riyadh further reinforced Sudan’s desire to enhance its relations with Saudi Arabia and other regional powers. The Sudanese leader’s participation in such summits is part of Sudan’s broader foreign policy to strengthen alliances and promote regional stability as the country continues navigating its political and economic transformation.
His visit was also seen as a demonstration of Sudan’s commitment to regional peace, security, and economic integration. The President’s return to Sudan marks the conclusion of a significant diplomatic trip, reflecting both Sudan’s engagement in Arab and Islamic affairs and its pursuit of opportunities for political and economic recovery.
