Actor Soha Ali Khan recently shared a heartwarming glimpse into her family dinners, revealing rare anecdotes about her late parents, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore. Coming from a family with a rich legacy in film and cricket, Soha is related to several prominent personalities, including Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Amrita Singh, Sara Ali Khan, and her mother, Sharmila Tagore.
Entertaining Family Dinners
Soha revealed how her husband, Kunal Kemmu, and sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor are among the most entertaining members at family dinners.
"When you have dinner with a bunch of actors like us, we tend to talk about ourselves a lot. Having said that, there are very entertaining people at the table. The most entertaining are Kareena and Kunal. On a good day, they really make us laugh a lot," Soha shared.
She also noted the influence of their upbringing on their sense of humour. "It comes a little from our common upbringing, which also has to do with my father genetically perhaps, but also with our exposure to studying abroad, being in England, having a sort of self-deprecating humour, and just having a sense of humour."
Reflections on Siblings and Childhood
Soha reflected on her childhood and education abroad, sharing insights about her siblings, Saif Ali Khan and Saba Pataudi.
"Saif was in Winchester for schooling while I was growing up. I only went to university, but he didn't go to university. After he came back, he boarded a film and went somewhere. When he came back, he decided to go to Mumbai. I was trying to make my parents proud and carve my own identity. Saba is more artistic; she went to Delhi College of Art and the GIA for jewellery designing. She enjoys photography and being behind the scenes rather than being on camera."
Soha, daughter of former cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actor Sharmila Tagore, married actor Kunal Kemmu on January 25, 2015. The couple has a daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, born on September 29, 2017.
