Six Killed in Tourist Submarine Sinking Off Egypt's Red Sea

A sad accident happened when a tourist submarine sank off the coast of Hurghada, a city in Egypt by the Red Sea. Six people lost their lives in the accident. The submarine was named "Sindbad," and it was taking tourists on a regular trip to see the coral reefs underwater. The accident happened about 1 km from the shore at around 10:00 am.

There were 45 people on board, including crew members and tourists. All of the tourists were from Russia, and many of them were with a travel company called "Biblio Globus." Some of the tourists were children. The people on the submarine were all part of a tour group that had come to Egypt for their holiday.

After the accident, most of the people on the submarine were rescued and taken to hospitals and hotels in Hurghada. They were checked, and luckily, none of them had serious injuries. Their health was not in danger. However, some of the passengers are still missing, and their situation is being looked into.

The Russian Embassy in Egypt shared information on social media and said that officials from the embassy were on the scene to help the tourists and their families. The cause of the accident is still not clear, but authorities are investigating it. The Egyptian authorities are working hard to find out exactly what happened.

The incident has left many people worried about the safety of underwater tours. People hope that lessons can be learned to prevent such accidents from happening in the future.
