Abu Dhabi, UAE — November 6, 2025: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed key updates on national initiatives aimed at reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in future-oriented sectors during the UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025.
The high-level gathering, held in Abu Dhabi until November 6, brought together over 500 government officials from federal and local entities to discuss progress, strategic priorities, and innovative projects shaping the country’s future.
Sheikh Mohammed emphasised that the UAE’s efforts are “guided by the spirit of the Union, and the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, moving toward achieving our national priorities.”
Several initiatives were launched at the event, including the AI Readiness Indicator to assess the country’s preparedness for artificial intelligence adoption and a program to identify 1,000 applications of AI across different sectors. These initiatives aim to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global leader in AI, technology, and innovation.
The meetings also featured the Ministerial Development Council, convening for the first time ministers and senior officials from federal and local government entities to ensure coordination and alignment of strategic goals. Simultaneously, sessions for the Executive Councils of Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, and Ras Al Khaimah were held, reinforcing cohesive governance across the UAE.
Highlighting the dedication of government teams, Sheikh Mohammed remarked, “Our teams are committed to reinforcing the UAE’s leadership in all sectors, focusing on innovation, excellence, and future-ready solutions.”
The UAE Government Annual Meetings 2025 not only showcased the nation’s achievements in AI and innovation but also provided a platform for enhanced collaboration, driving the country closer to its ambitious vision of becoming a global hub for technology, digital solutions, and sustainable growth.
