Both leaders spoke about how to bring peace, stop the war, and help the people in need. They said it is important to work with other countries to make this happen.
Sheikh Abdullah, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, said it is very important to allow food, water, and medicine to enter Gaza. People there are in a very bad situation. In early March, Israel stopped aid from going in because of a disagreement with Hamas about stopping the fighting.
Sheikh Abdullah said the UAE will keep helping the Palestinian people. He promised that the UAE will continue sending help and support.
He also said it’s important to stop the war from growing bigger. He asked for peace talks to start again, so both Israel and Palestine can live peacefully as two separate countries.
Sheikh Abdullah asked other countries to work together and help the Palestinian people have peace, safety, and a good life.
The two leaders also talked about the growing friendship between the UAE and Israel. The meeting was also attended by Israel’s trade minister Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri and the UAE’s ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Mahmoud Al Khaja.
