Abu Dhabi, UAE – His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed Joe Saddi, Lebanon’s Minister of Energy and Water, in Abu Dhabi today. The meeting, which was also attended by Dr. Ghassan Salamé, Lebanon’s Minister of Culture, marked a significant step in strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Lebanon.

During the meeting, the leaders highlighted the long-standing fraternal relations that unite the two nations. They discussed multiple ways to enhance collaboration in sectors that serve their mutual interests, particularly focusing on energy, trade, economic development, and cultural exchange. Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting Lebanon in its development initiatives, especially in areas such as energy security, water management, and sustainable infrastructure projects.

The leaders also discussed strategies to encourage private sector collaboration, joint investments, and trade initiatives. They explored ways to create a stronger economic partnership, benefiting businesses and citizens in both nations. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted that UAE-Lebanon cooperation is not only a diplomatic priority but also a practical approach to promoting stability, growth, and prosperity in the region.
