The Saudi men’s handball team has reached the final of the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games (Riyadh 2025) after a powerful and confident performance against the United Arab Emirates. The semifinal match ended with a big win for Saudi Arabia, who defeated the UAE team 29–15. This victory puts the Saudi team one step away from winning the gold medal, and they will now prepare to face Bahrain in the final match tomorrow.
The game showed the strength and skill of the Saudi players, who entered the match with determination and focus. They knew the semifinal was an important step toward the championship, and they delivered an impressive performance from start to finish.
In the first half of the match, both teams played with high energy and strong defense. The UAE team tried to keep up with Saudi Arabia and managed to stay close in the early minutes. However, as the first half continued, the Saudi team began to take control.

In the second half, Saudi Arabia outscored the UAE 19–5. This extraordinary scoring run showed the team’s strength, fitness, and excellent preparation. Every part of the team worked together — offense, defense, and goalkeeping. They controlled possession, created many scoring chances, and made it difficult for the UAE to respond.
As the minutes passed, the Saudi lead grew larger, and the UAE team found it harder to stop the attacks. By the end of the match, the score was 29–15, a clear and decisive victory for Saudi Arabia.
With this semifinal victory, the Saudi handball team has earned a place in the final, where they will face Bahrain. Bahrain is known for having a strong and experienced handball team, so the final is expected to be an exciting and competitive match.
