Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been honored with the prestigious SAG Award for Special Achievement in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for its cutting-edge Enterprise GIS Platform. Hessa Al Suwaidi, the Director of Information Technology at the Corporate Technology Support Services Sector of RTA, emphasized the significance of the Enterprise GIS Platform, which was developed using Esri technology. She noted that the platform incorporates best practices to ensure business continuity, rapid disaster recovery, flexibility, and the automation of operational tasks, all while adhering to the highest standards of information security.
