Rabdan Academy has officially launched the Circles of Resilience initiative, a pioneering platform designed to facilitate meaningful dialogue and empower youth in the fields of security and defense. The initiative marks a significant step towards equipping young individuals with essential knowledge and insights into artificial intelligence (AI), security technology, and national defense strategies, aiming to bolster national security capabilities and contribute to development, innovation, and technical research.
The inaugural session of the Circles of Resilience initiative featured distinguished speakers, including His Excellency Dr. Obaid Al Hairi Salem Al Ketbi, who delivered a keynote address on "Visionary Security: Empowering Youth at the Intersection of AI, Technology, and National Defence." Dr. Al Ketbi emphasized the pivotal role of Emirati youth in harnessing AI technologies to enhance national security measures. He underscored the importance of educational programs that focus on academic research, technological innovation, and the application of AI in cybersecurity and intelligence analysis. His remarks aimed to inspire young participants to innovate and develop novel approaches to mitigate cyber risks and safeguard national interests.

Following Dr. Al Ketbi's session, His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, took the stage to discuss "Navigating the Nexus: Youth, Media, and National Security in the Digital Age." Sheikh Al Hamed highlighted the critical role of media in shaping public perceptions and promoting national security values. He stressed the importance of responsible media practices that uphold principles of loyalty and belonging, essential for maintaining a robust national security framework in the digital era. His Excellency reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to empowering youth through education and knowledge, preparing them to contribute effectively to the nation's future prosperity and security.
The Circles of Resilience initiative is set to continue with additional sessions planned in Abu Dhabi, featuring further discussions and insights from prominent experts and leaders in the fields of safety, security, defense, emergency preparedness, and crisis management. These sessions aim to deepen participants' understanding of contemporary security challenges and equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to tackle emerging threats effectively.
