Prince Andrew Faces IS Called to Testify Over Epstein Ties

Prince Andrew is once again under intense scrutiny as members of the US Congress have requested his cooperation in an ongoing investigation into the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The letter from sixteen Democratic lawmakers comes just days after King Charles III officially stripped Andrew of his royal titles and banished him from the monarchy.

According to the letter, addressed to “Andrew Mountbatten Windsor,” lawmakers urged the former prince to participate in a “transcribed interview” with the House Oversight Committee. The committee is probing Epstein’s criminal network, seeking to identify co-conspirators and enablers linked to his sex trafficking operations.

“The committee is seeking to uncover the identities of Mr. Epstein’s co-conspirators and to understand the full extent of his criminal operations,” the letter stated. Lawmakers noted that Andrew’s long-standing association with Epstein “may provide valuable insights” into the investigation.

The letter, signed by sixteen Democrats, requested a response from Andrew by November 20. However, as US Congress lacks authority to compel foreign citizens to testify, it remains uncertain whether Andrew will comply.

The renewed attention on Andrew follows the publication of new evidence by the committee and the release of a posthumous memoir by Virginia Giuffre, the woman who accused him of sexual assault. The revelations have reignited public outrage in the UK, prompting King Charles to act decisively.

On Wednesday, an official announcement published in The Gazette, the UK’s public record, confirmed that King Charles III had removed all of Andrew’s royal titles and honours. He will also be required to vacate his 30-room mansion on the Windsor estate.

Andrew has consistently denied Giuffre’s allegations that she was trafficked to have sex with him when she was 17. In 2022, he reached an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre, reportedly paying millions of pounds while admitting no wrongdoing.

Giuffre, who held dual US and Australian citizenship, tragically died by suicide earlier this year in Australia.

The latest developments have left Prince Andrew facing renewed public and political pressure both in the UK and abroad — a stark reminder that the fallout from his association with Jeffrey Epstein is far from over.
