The Supreme Organising Committee of the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026, led by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has officially revealed the event’s logo. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs.

Logo Inspired by UAE’s Nature and Culture
The new logo reflects the Emirati heritage and is inspired by the UAE’s natural beauty—like deserts, mountains, and coastal waters. It shows the connection between land and sea and proudly represents the UAE’s identity. The design also embodies important values such as tolerance, inclusion, unity, and collaboration within the community.

Famous UAE landmarks such as the Zayed National Museum, Zayed Sports City, and the Museum of the Future are part of the design. The logo’s shapes flow like sea waves and dunes, showing strength, hope, and the country’s steady progress.

His Highness Sheikh Theyab said that hosting such a big international event shows the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE. He believes health and long life are important for everyone—no matter their age or background.

Biggest Multi-Sport Event in the Middle East
The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will be the biggest and most exciting multi-sport event ever held in the Middle East. It will run from 6 to 15 February 2026 across the UAE. More than 25,000 athletes are expected to take part in 33 sports.
The Games will include:

• 4 traditional Emirati sports to honor the UAE’s rich culture.
• 18 sports open to People of Determination, showing inclusivity for all abilities.

• Precision sports: archery and shooting
• Team sports: football, basketball, volleyball, netball, rugby
• Individual sports: athletics, swimming, cycling, golf, tennis, table tennis, badminton, squash, weightlifting
• Combat sports: judo, karate, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai
• Water sports: sailing, kayaking, canoeing
• Cultural and adventure sports: camel racing, falconry, horse racing, obstacle course racing

Other fun events: bowling, cricket, padel, orienteering, triathlon, duathlon, and traditional equestrian games
