Millie Bobby Brown, the actress famous for playing Eleven in Stranger Things, has spoken out against the harsh criticism and negativity she faces about her looks. In a powerful message, she called out media outlets for constantly analyzing her face and body, saying it's "disturbing" how people discuss her appearance as she grows up.
Millie, who started acting at just 10 years old, has grown up in front of the world. However, she feels that many people expect her to stay the same forever. In a heartfelt video, she shared how frustrating it is to be judged simply for growing up. "People act like I should still look the way I did in Stranger Things Season 1. And because I don’t, I become a target," she said.

The young actress did not hold back when criticizing journalists who write stories focused on her looks. "This isn't journalism. This is bullying," she stated. She also found it disappointing that some of these stories were written by women. "We talk about supporting young girls, but when the time comes, some people choose to tear them down just for attention."
Millie made it clear that she will not apologize for changing as she gets older. "I refuse to make myself smaller just to fit unrealistic expectations. I won’t be shamed for how I look, how I dress, or how I present myself," she said.
She also pointed out how society has become too focused on criticism rather than kindness. "Why is it easier to say something mean instead of something nice? If my growing up makes you uncomfortable, then maybe you need to ask yourself why," she added.
Fans and followers quickly showed their support for Millie, praising her courage in speaking up. Many agreed with her message, saying that young girls should be allowed to grow and change without fear of being judged.
Millie’s words serve as a reminder that everyone deserves respect, no matter how they look or how they choose to express themselves.
