Saudi Journalists Association Unveils Its New Identity

The Saudi Journalists Association (SJA) introduced its new brand identity during the Saudi Media Forum yesterday. The event was attended by media professionals, intellectuals, and industry leaders from both Saudi Arabia and around the world.

A Stronger Voice for Journalists
During the event, Adhwan Al-Ahmari, Chairman of the SJA Board of Directors, spoke about the association’s important role in supporting journalists and shaping Saudi Arabia’s media identity. He described the SJA as a key pillar of journalism in the country, working to protect journalists’ rights, offer professional support, and help the industry grow.

Al-Ahmari explained that the new identity reflects the rapid progress Saudi Arabia is making in various fields. He highlighted how the media industry is evolving, and the SJA’s new look represents this transformation while staying true to its core values.

A Design Rooted in Saudi Heritage
The updated logo was designed by a young Saudi talent and still carries the essence of the previous design. It features the palm tree, which is an important symbol in Saudi Arabia’s culture and history. This blend of modern and traditional elements represents both innovation and deep-rooted heritage.

Global and Local Media Leaders Participate
The event also saw speeches from several editors-in-chief of local newspapers and representatives from major media organizations. Leaders from the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and Arab media institutions shared their thoughts on the importance of strong journalism and the role of Saudi Arabia in shaping the future of media.

This launch marks an important step for the Saudi Journalists Association, reinforcing its commitment to supporting media professionals and strengthening the country’s presence in the global media landscape.
