A man who was being deported from the UK to India caused a stir at Heathrow Airport when he managed to escape and run onto the runway. The incident took place on Sunday, June 8th, at Terminal 2.

The man was filmed sprinting across the tarmac, with guards in hi-vis vests chasing after him. It took several minutes for them to finally catch him. The person who filmed the incident, which was later posted on YouTube, expressed concern about the danger, as planes were actively taking off and landing nearby.

The man's actions could have put passengers and airport staff at risk. Social media users quickly reacted, with some questioning the airport's security and others making light of the chase. One person commented on the fitness of those chasing the man, while another joked about the man "taking the word runway to a new level."

A Heathrow spokesperson stated that the incident was quickly resolved, and the individual was removed from the airport. They also assured the public that the airport was operating as normal and passengers were able to continue their travels without further interruption
