So far, the police have not said anything about who may have done the shooting. They also haven’t shared any reason why the shooting happened.
The shooting took place on a street that is mostly filled with homes. A few boating businesses are also on that street, which is close to the Intracoastal Waterway.
Video clips from the area showed many police cars and ambulances going in and out quickly. The scene looked very busy and serious as emergency teams worked to help those who were hurt.
Little River is a quiet town located about 20 miles (or 32 kilometers) northeast of Myrtle Beach.
Police are still looking into what happened and asking anyone with information to come forward.
