This fast-bowling all-rounder's acquisition set the auction floor ablaze. Following closely, New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell secured a lucrative deal with Chennai Super Kings for ₹14 crore.

Harshal Patel emerged as a significant attraction, breaking the bank for Punjab Kings, which acquired him for a substantial ₹11.75 crore.
