Google Introduces Two New AI Plans – AI Pro and AI Ultra at I/O 2025
At the I/O 2025 event, Google launched two paid subscription plans for its AI tools: Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra. These plans are made for people who use AI a lot, like professionals, content creators, or anyone who needs powerful features for work.
What’s in the AI Pro Plan?
The AI Pro plan costs $19.99 per month. It’s an upgrade of the older Gemini Advanced service. This plan gives users better tools like Flow and NotebookLM, along with higher usage limits.
That means users can run more AI tasks without delays and enjoy smoother performance. It's made for people who use AI regularly for productivity or creative work.

What Do You Get with AI Ultra?
The AI Ultra plan is priced at $249.99 per month. It’s for those who need top-level AI power and tools for more complex tasks.
A big highlight is Agent Mode — a new feature (coming soon to desktop) where you just tell the AI what your goal is, and it handles the steps for you. It combines smart browsing, research, and uses Google apps to get the job done with little effort from you.
This plan also gives early access to cutting-edge tools like Veo3 and 2.5 Pro Deep Think mode. It’s ideal for users who want the newest and best AI features before anyone else.
Availability and Launch Offer
Right now, the AI Ultra plan is only available in the U.S., but Google plans to roll it out to more countries soon. As a launch offer, Google is giving 50% off for the first three months to new users of the Ultra plan.
