The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) started a special conference today on the physical readiness of land forces from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The event is taking place at the Erth Hotel in Abu Dhabi and will go on until April 25, 2025. Military leaders, experts, and specialists from all over the region have come together to take part.
The opening ceremony was led by Brigadier General Staff Mohammed Khamis Al Hassani, who is the Deputy Commander of the UAE Land Forces. Several top military officers and government officials also attended. Their presence showed how important it is for GCC countries to work together to improve the health and strength of their armies.

This conference will talk about many important topics. These include how different weather and environments affect army training, how to prevent injuries, the role of mental health, and how new technologies like artificial intelligence can help in physical therapy and recovery. Real-life success stories and experiences will also be shared during the sessions.
The event will have special workshops and expert talks. These sessions will focus on how to better measure physical fitness and how countries in the region can team up to reach shared goals for their armies.
The main aim of this conference is to create one strong plan for all GCC land forces. This plan will help improve the physical and combat readiness of soldiers and strengthen the overall defence partnership between GCC countries.
