A flight attendant from Spirit Airlines has become famous online for her funny and unique way of explaining airline safety instructions. A video of her was posted on social media platform X, and it quickly went viral. The video was taken during a Spirit Airlines flight, where the cabin crew member gave a safety announcement that surprised and amused the passengers.
As she explained the usual safety instructions, she suddenly added some jokes that made everyone laugh. While talking about the emergency oxygen masks, she looked at the passengers and said, “Alright ladies and gentlemen, let’s see who’s been paying attention. Go ahead and point to where the oxygen mask comes down from.”

Only a few people pointed to the correct spot. She smiled and said, “That’s awesome, three of you are going to get oxygen.” The whole plane burst into laughter after that.
She then gave a funny message just for the women on board. She reminded everyone of the safety rule that says you should always put on your own mask before helping a child. But then she added her own twist. She said, “Ladies, a child travelling with you can come in many different shapes and sizes. If you have more than one of these with you, assess the situation. Who is it gonna be? Pick your favourite.”
This part made many people on the plane laugh again. The video was later shared on Instagram, where it received over half a million views. Many people in the comments said they loved the way she explained things.
One person commented, “I’d actually listen to the whole lesson if it was explained like this.”
Another wrote, “This would make someone who’s afraid of flying feel more relaxed.”You know what, she got it 😭😭 pic.twitter.com/eZqDxPCAWz

But not everyone liked it. Some users said making jokes about safety could be risky. One comment said, “Some cabin crew should be fired for this kind of behavior. Emergency situations are not funny. People might laugh now, but in a real emergency, it won’t be a joke anymore.”
Even though some people were unhappy, many others enjoyed the video and thought the flight attendant’s light-hearted approach was a fun and creative way to get people to pay attention.
