The Emirates Group has signed a new agreement with the Federal Youth Authority to help young Emiratis grow in the aviation and travel industry. The aim is to build a strong support system for the youth working in the Emirates Group and to inspire more young people to explore careers in this exciting field.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, and His Excellency Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs.
The agreement was officially signed by Yousuf Bin Lahej Al Falasi, Vice President of Emiratisation and Government Partnerships at Emirates Group, and Khalid Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority.
Believing in the Power of Youth
Sheikh Ahmed highlighted how important it is to support young people. He said that youth bring new ideas and energy that help the organization grow. He also praised the Emirates Group’s youth as a vital part of the company’s future.

“The young people working with us bring passion and fresh thinking. We are proud to support them and give them the tools to succeed. With this partnership, we hope to encourage all youth to dream big and help shape the future of travel and aviation,” said Sheikh Ahmed.
He also added that today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, and the Emirates Group will keep investing in them so they can help take the country forward in every field.
A Step Towards a Stronger Future
His Excellency Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi explained that this partnership supports the UAE’s long-term vision. He said that young Emiratis are key to building a better future, and it’s important to give them opportunities to learn and grow.
“This agreement will help young people take part in national projects and build careers in aviation,” he said. “We want to create a generation of skilled Emiratis who will lead the aviation sector with pride and confidence.”
What the Agreement Will Do
The Emirates Group and the Federal Youth Authority will now work together to create programmes and training sessions just for Emirati youth. These will include:
These activities are aimed at helping young Emiratis explore different job roles in the company and build successful careers. They will also get to take part in national-level youth programmes organised by the Federal Youth Authority, giving them a chance to learn from others and grow their knowledge.
Led by Youth, for Youth
This agreement was made possible thanks to the work of the first batch of the Emirates Group Youth Council. These eleven members have already done a lot to support the UAE’s goals for youth development. From planning events like the Youth Summit and Aviation Future Week 2024, they’ve worked hard to bring young voices forward.
Earlier this year, the Emirates Group Youth Council was honoured as one of the top three private-sector youth councils in the country during the Youth Councils Forum 2025, held at Expo City Dubai.
