Emirates Foundation Launches Financial Wellbeing Initiative with Strategic Agreements

In a significant move towards enhancing financial literacy and stability among UAE residents, Emirates Foundation, led by His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has launched the Financial Wellbeing and Sustainability Initiative. This initiative, developed in collaboration with First Abu Dhabi Bank and other key partners including the Central Bank of the UAE and various governmental bodies, aims to provide comprehensive financial planning tools and education to citizens of all ages.

The signing ceremony, held at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, marked the formalization of strategic agreements to support the initiative's objectives. Attendees included prominent figures such as His Excellency Khaled Mohamed Balama, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE, and representatives from Emirates Foundation and partner organizations.

His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan emphasized the initiative's role in empowering the community to navigate financial complexities confidently. He highlighted the collaborative efforts across public, private, and third sectors to develop a robust program that promotes financial literacy and resilience. Partnerships with leading entities such as ADGM Academy, Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, Visa, and the Ministry of Education underscore the initiative's holistic approach.

The Financial Wellbeing and Sustainability Initiative will encompass various activities, including the establishment of a dedicated financial wellbeing platform, workshops, educational campaigns, and support for fintech innovations in financial education. By fostering informed financial decision-making and management skills, the initiative aims to contribute to the UAE's long-term economic growth and societal wellbeing.
