Emirates Boosts Dubai-Cairo Flights to Daily from Feb 2026

Dubai, UAE – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is stepping up its presence on the Dubai-Cairo route to meet growing passenger demand. Starting 1st December 2025, six additional weekly flights will be added, providing seamless connections across Emirates’ global network.

From 1st February 2026, the route will become a daily service, complementing the existing four daily flights. Operated using Boeing 777 aircraft, the revised schedule is designed to link Egypt with major Asian destinations such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and beyond, making travel smoother for both leisure and corporate passengers.

Cairo has long been a strategic market for Emirates. The city already hosts the highest deployment of the airline’s flagship A380s in the Middle East and North Africa, outside Dubai. With the fifth daily service, Cairo will also become the most served city in Emirates’ African network, underlining the airline’s nearly 40-year commitment to the country.

The expansion is expected to significantly boost trade and tourism between Egypt and the UAE. Emirates SkyCargo will also increase its capacity on this route, offering up to 300 tonnes weekly via the Boeing 777’s belly hold. Key commodities such as fresh Egyptian produce, including strawberries and vegetables, will now reach global markets faster and more efficiently, supporting local businesses and the economy.

Since its inaugural flight to Cairo in 1986, Emirates has transported over 10 million passengers to and from Egypt, connecting the country with major global hubs including China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, and Southeast Asia. The enhanced flight schedule reinforces the airline’s long-term role in strengthening Egypt’s aviation, tourism, and trade sectors.
