Dubai Expands Aerospace Hub with 11 New Line Maintenance Units

Dubai’s Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub (MBRAH) is set to become an even bigger magnet for global aviation players with its latest expansion. The hub has announced the addition of new Line Maintenance Units (LMUs), bringing the total to 11 and covering an impressive 76,000 square feet.

Designed as a comprehensive one-stop aviation solution, the upgraded LMUs aim to provide seamless support for airside operators, including fixed-base operators (FBOs) and private jet companies. The facilities will feature state-of-the-art storage and maintenance warehouses, specialized tooling, engineering support, and premium pilot rest areas. Shaded parking and fully equipped offices are also part of the expansion, tailored to meet the operational needs of modern aviation businesses.

Construction is currently underway, with the project expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026. Once operational, the hub will offer direct access for operators to their clients, strengthening Dubai’s position as a global leader in aviation services.

Strategically located within Dubai South, MBRAH has emerged as a free-zone destination for airlines, MROs, private jet operators, and other aerospace stakeholders. Beyond maintenance, the hub hosts training and education campuses, positioning itself as a centre for engineering excellence and innovation in the region.
