Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Press Club has officially announced the second edition of the Arab Podcast Programme, a five-week training course that will begin on 7 July 2025. This programme is designed to support and grow audio content creation across the Arab world, giving young and aspiring podcasters the tools and skills they need to succeed in today’s digital media space.
This new edition builds on the success of the first programme held last year. It’s part of the Club’s larger goal to help the media industry grow and respond to the needs of modern audiences. The training will be practical, helping participants learn how to record, edit, and share high-quality podcasts, right from the first idea to making money from their content.
Support from UAE Leaders
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of the Dubai Press Club, said that this initiative follows the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Both leaders have always supported the development of Arab media and young talent.

She explained that in today’s digital world, there is a big need to create more Arabic content—not just to watch or listen, but to actually make it. Dubai wants to lead this change by giving the right training to young people who want to build a career in podcasting.
A Learning Journey for Creators
The programme will take students through every step of making a podcast—from coming up with an idea, writing the script, recording, editing, publishing, and even earning income from it. The goal is to create a new group of Arab podcasters who can tell powerful stories that represent the region.
Voices Behind the Programme
Maryam Al Mulla, the Acting Director of Dubai Press Club, shared that this year’s programme is even better, with more hands-on sessions and new topics that match the fast-growing podcast industry. She added that some of the top Arab podcasters will also be part of the training to guide and inspire the new students.
Programme Director Mahfoudha Saleh said the course is part of Dubai’s larger vision to support media talent. She believes it will give participants the knowledge and skills they need to produce top-quality content that can compete at an international level.
A Platform for the Future
The training will help both new and experienced podcasters improve their work. It also aims to boost creativity and encourage storytelling that speaks to today’s Arab audience. The course will end with a special event where the first batch of programme graduates will talk about their journey and the podcasts they’ve created.
People who want to join the Arab Podcast Programme can sign up now on the official Dubai Press Club website: https://dpc.org.ae/ar
This initiative shows how Dubai continues to support the media world, invest in young talent, and stay a leader in digital innovation across the region.
