Dubai Health Wins Epic Gold Stars Level 10 Award

Dubai Health has achieved a major international milestone by receiving the Epic Gold Stars Level 10 Award for its advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This recognition places Dubai Health among the top 3% of healthcare institutions worldwide that use the Epic system.

The Epic Gold Stars Program is a global benchmarking system that measures how well hospitals and healthcare providers use Epic’s EMR features. With a maximum of 10 levels, Level 10 is the highest distinction — awarded only to institutions that adopt and utilize more than 95% of Epic’s most advanced digital features.

The announcement was made in Wisconsin, USA, during the Epic User Group Meeting 2025, where healthcare leaders from across the world gathered to discuss the latest advancements in digital healthcare.

Speaking about the achievement, Atif Albraiki, Chief Digital and AI Officer at Dubai Health, said:

Dubai Health first introduced the Epic system in 2017. Since then, all patient records across its hospitals and centers have been fully integrated into one digital system. This allows doctors and clinicians to access patient information instantly, reducing delays, improving diagnoses, and ensuring better treatment decisions.

This recognition positions Dubai Health as a global benchmark in digital healthcare, underlining its role as a leader in delivering smart, seamless, and world-class medical services.
