Dubai Gold Price Rises Dh3 as Shoppers Hunt Summer Deals

Gold prices in Dubai increased by Dh3 per gram on Tuesday, attracting both residents and tourists to jewellery shops offering special summer discounts.

According to the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, the rate for 24K gold rose from Dh279.25 to Dh282.25 per gram. Other purity levels also saw a rise:

22K gold is now Dh261.00

21K gold is Dh252.50

18K gold is Dh216.50

The rise in gold rates comes as global gold prices continue to go up due to strong investor demand and ongoing economic uncertainty in international markets. This is directly impacting local prices in the UAE.

Even with higher prices, jewellery shops across Dubai are seeing a good number of customers. A gold trader in Deira said, “The Dh3 increase has not slowed down customers. Many want to buy before prices go even higher.”Experts advise shoppers to keep an eye on price changes and compare offers before purchasing.
