Dubai Chamber of Commerce launches Hungarian Business Council to boost economic ties

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chambers’ umbrella, has announced the launch of the Hungarian Business Council. This new council aims to strengthen cooperation and build stronger ties between Dubai and Hungary’s business communities. The goal is to increase trade and investments across various sectors.

Growing Hungarian Presence in Dubai
The launch of the Hungarian Business Council highlights the rising interest of Hungarian companies in Dubai. By the end of 2024, the number of Hungarian businesses registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce reached 201, marking a 48% increase compared to the previous year. This growth reflects Dubai’s growing appeal as a business destination for Hungarian companies.

Maha Al Gergawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, highlighted the importance of business councils. She said:
