Muslim Leaders Honor Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali as Personality of Year 2025

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, the CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, has been honored with the highly prestigious “Personality of the Year 2025” award. This award, presented by the Meeting of Muslim Religious Leaders of BRICS Countries, recognizes Dr. Al-Ali’s outstanding contributions to research and science, particularly his efforts in supporting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The announcement also marked the 11th anniversary of TRENDS Research & Advisory, highlighting over a decade of dedication to producing reliable research and promoting knowledge on both regional and global levels.

The award ceremony was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the sidelines of the VI International Conference “Spiritual Silk Road: The Role of Moral Values in Bridging Nations and Continents”. This conference is a major international platform where scholars, religious leaders, and intellectuals gather to discuss how moral and ethical values can strengthen understanding and cooperation among nations. The award was personally presented by Sheikh Ravil Gainutdin, the Grand Mufti and Chairman of the Religious Board of Muslims of the Russian Federation, a highly respected figure in global Islamic leadership circles. The ceremony also included other distinguished personalities, such as Dr. Khalifa Mubarak Al Dhaheri, Chancellor of Mohammed bin Zayed University for Humanities, and Dr. Ali Hussein Al-Zoghbi, President of the Federation of Muslim Associations in Brazil (FAMBRAS). Their presence emphasized the international importance of this award and highlighted the collaborative efforts of leaders, scholars, and organizations from around the world.
