DMCC Sees 10% Growth in Swiss & British Companies

Dubai’s DMCC, the leading international business district driving global trade, has reported a 10% increase in Swiss and British companies over the past 12 months. The announcement was made during DMCC’s European tour, including roadshows in London and Zürich, highlighting technology, innovation, climate tech, and sustainability.

Nearly 200 new British companies joined DMCC in the past year, bringing the total number of British firms in the district to almost 2,200 – one of the largest concentrations of British companies in the UAE. Swiss company presence is also rising, with close to 450 firms now operating in DMCC. The surge coincides with a 120% increase in UAE-Swiss non-oil trade in the first half of 2025. Together, Swiss and British companies represent over 10% of DMCC’s member base.

The European tour also included DMCC’s participation in CV Summit in Zürich, Switzerland’s premier business conference for AI, blockchain, and digital assets. As Platinum Sponsor, DMCC highlighted its growing ecosystem connections between Dubai and Zug, Switzerland, following last year’s strategic partnership with CV VC to promote global Web3 adoption.
