Actress Divyanka Tripathi and her husband Vivek Dahiya enjoyed a holiday in Europe earlier this month, sharing picturesque moments from Switzerland and other destinations. However, their trip took a distressing turn in Florence, Italy, where they were robbed of belongings worth Rs 10 lakhs, including passports and cash, leaving them stranded. They sought assistance from the Indian embassy and finally returned to Mumbai a week later on Tuesday morning.
Upon their arrival at Mumbai airport, Divyanka and Vivek interacted with the paparazzi, expressing relief at being back home. Divyanka mentioned, "Ghar aake hamesha sukoon he milta hai (It is always peaceful to be back home). I am eager to get home and feel relieved. It's a long story, we will discuss it in detail soon."
Detailing the incident, their car was broken into at a resort in Florence, resulting in the theft of their belongings except for some old clothes and food. Throughout the ordeal, Divyanka kept fans updated on social media, including a post with their emergency certificate on Monday, thanking everyone for their support and acknowledging the Indian Embassy's role in facilitating their return.

Addressing criticism about precautions, Divyanka clarified that the car was parked securely within the resort premises, and the resort was aware of their belongings. She urged empathy rather than judgment, emphasizing the unpredictability of such incidents.
Regarding further comments on the incident, Indianexpress.com reached out to Divyanka for a response, awaiting her statement. On the professional front, Divyanka was recently seen in the web show "Adrishyam," while Vivek Dahiya participated in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11."
