A 31-year-old man was arrested on September 8 on suspicion of possession of firearms with intent, blackmail, and driving without a licence. He has since been released on bail while further investigations continue. Police have emphasized that the case remains under active inquiry.

Tottenham Hotspur has publicly expressed support for Udogie and his family. A club spokesperson said on Tuesday: "We have been providing support for Destiny and his family since the incident and will continue to do so. Given this is a legal matter, we cannot comment any further."

Despite the incident, Udogie was on the field for Tottenham’s impressive 4-0 Champions League home victory over Copenhagen on Tuesday, showing resilience and focus amid the ongoing legal proceedings.
