Community Development Dept Launches ‘Volunteer in 60 Seconds’

The Department of Community Development (DCD) – Abu Dhabi has started a new plan called "Volunteer in 60 Seconds" with Volunteers.ae. This plan makes it easier and faster for people to sign up for volunteer work. Before, it took eight minutes to register, but now it only takes one minute. This change helps more people join and support their community.

This plan is part of the Abu Dhabi Government’s Effortless Customer Experience programme, which works to make services simple and easy to use. By making the volunteer sign-up quick, the DCD and Volunteers.ae hope that more people will take part in volunteer work. Fatema Al Hosani, a manager at DCD, said this plan shows their promise to making volunteering simple.
