Blackstone, Lunate Join Forces for $5B GCC Logistics Push

Dubai: Blackstone and Abu Dhabi-based Lunate have unveiled a major strategic partnership aimed at transforming logistics infrastructure across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The joint venture, named Gulf Logistics Infrastructure Development Enterprise (GLIDE), plans to acquire, develop, and manage Grade A logistics assets across the region.

GLIDE is targeting a $5 billion investment, blending greenfield developments, portfolio acquisitions, and sale-and-leaseback transactions to strengthen GCC supply chains. The platform is structured to invite additional regional partners while maintaining dedicated teams in each market to ensure operational efficiency.
