Dubai Airshow 2025: Israeli Firms Excluded Amid Regional Tensions

The Dubai Airshow 2025, scheduled for November 17–21 at Dubai World Central, has confirmed that Israeli companies will not participate as exhibitors. This decision follows recent regional developments and official communications from event organizers.

Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, the event's organizer, stated during a press conference on October 7 that Israeli firms "won’t be participating" in this year's exhibition. This announcement addresses earlier media speculations regarding their involvement.

The exclusion comes amid heightened regional tensions, particularly following an Israeli airstrike in Doha in September, which resulted in casualties and strained relations with neighboring countries. The strike targeted Hamas officials, leading to diplomatic repercussions and security concerns in the Gulf region.

Despite the absence of Israeli exhibitors, the Dubai Airshow 2025 is set to showcase a robust lineup of defense and aerospace innovations. Organizers have confirmed participation from over 98 countries, with more than 1,500 exhibitors and 148,000 industry professionals expected. The event will feature 20 country pavilions and a significant defense sector presence, comprising 40–50% of the exhibition space.

Notably, the flying display will include six aerobatic teams, featuring 16 aircraft from Europe, Africa, and Asia, including debut performances by teams from Morocco, South Korea, and India.
