Over the years, she acted in many French-language films. Some of her well-known movies include The Girl on the Train (2009) and Our Children (2012). She won many awards for her performances.

In 2024, she returned to the Cannes Film Festival to celebrate 25 years since Rosetta was released. She attended the event with the Dardenne brothers. That same year, she worked on Survive, an English-language disaster film. This was the last movie she acted in before her illness became worse.
