AmSpec Opens Advanced Agri & Food Testing Lab in Dubai

AmSpec Group, a global leader in inspection, testing, and certification services, has officially opened a state-of-the-art Agri & Food laboratory in Dubai, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the UAE’s fast-growing agricultural and food sectors.

The new laboratory is located at Dubai Science Park, the region’s leading science-focused hub and part of TECOM Group PJSC. With this launch, AmSpec aims to support rising regulatory demands, expanding food trade, and increasing food safety requirements across the UAE and the wider Middle East.

Advanced Testing for Food and Agriculture

The facility provides high-precision analytical services for agricultural commodities, animal feed, and food & beverage (F&B) products. It is equipped with advanced technologies capable of testing for:

• Pesticide residues

• Broad-spectrum mycotoxins

• Drug and antibiotic residues

• Heavy metals

• Genetic and molecular testing for transgenics and biological contaminants

The laboratory operates 24/7 and is staffed by over 30 skilled analysts and technical specialists, ensuring rapid and reliable results for clients across the agri-food supply chain.

Valentin Rossel, Executive Vice President of AmSpec’s Agri & Food Division, described the opening as a key milestone for the company. He said the new Dubai laboratory reflects AmSpec’s focus on delivering world-class testing and transparent certification services closer to clients in the Middle East, as global demand for precision testing continues to rise.
