AC/DC announces 2026 Canada tour with four massive stadium shows

Rock ‘n’ roll icons AC/DC are set to electrify Canada once again as part of their ongoing Power Up tour, with four major stadium concerts scheduled for 2026. The tour, named after the band’s 2020 album Power Up, will bring the Australian legends to Edmonton, Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto.

The tour kicks off in Edmonton on August 9, 2026, at the 56,400-capacity Commonwealth Stadium, marking the band’s return to the city after performances in 2015 and 2009. “Events like this draw in people from across the city, the province and beyond,” said Heather Seutter, director of the stadium, expressing excitement over hosting the iconic act.

Following Edmonton, AC/DC will take the stage at Vancouver’s BC Place on August 13, before heading south for U.S. tour dates. The band will then return to Canada for a performance at Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau on September 12, a venue that can accommodate up to 65,000 fans and is also set to host Iron Maiden a week prior.

Their final Canadian stop is set for September 16, 2026, at Rogers Stadium in downtown Toronto. All shows will feature support from American rock band The Pretty Reckless, adding to the tour’s powerhouse lineup.

Tickets for all Canadian dates go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time on Ticketmaster.

With over 200 million albums sold worldwide, AC/DC remains one of the most influential rock bands in history. Formed in 1973 in Sydney, the group rose to prominence with releases like Highway to Hell (1979) and Back in Black (1980), delivering high-energy shows and iconic guitar riffs led by co-founder Angus Young.

Despite lineup changes and the passing of co-founder Malcolm Young in 2017, AC/DC continues to rock stadiums worldwide. The Power Up tour features Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, drummer Matt Laug and bassist Chris Chaney.

AC/DC was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, cementing their legacy as one of the greatest rock acts of all time.
