Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club (ADMSC) is getting ready for a big month of water sports in April 2025. The club will hold five major events, with more than 1,000 athletes from the UAE and other countries taking part. These events will have both modern water sports and traditional boat races, showing the UAE’s deep connection to the sea.

The first event will be the UAE Flyboard Championship on 11 April 2025. Flyboarding is a sport where people use a water-powered board to rise into the air and perform exciting tricks. Athletes will show their skill in balancing and doing stunts high above the water.

On 12 April 2025, the UAE International Aquabike Championship will take place. This event will have jet ski racers speeding across the water. The race is known for being very fast and exciting, with riders using great control and power to win.

A traditional race, the Dhow Sailing Race (22ft), will happen on 18 April 2025. This race is special because it uses wooden sailing boats called dhows, which have been used in the UAE for many years. Sailors will use wind power to move their boats and compete to finish first. This event is important because it keeps the UAE’s old sailing traditions alive.

From 25 to 27 April 2025, the WakeFest Championship will take place. Wakeboarding is a sport where people ride a board on water while being pulled by a boat. Athletes will do flips, spins, and tricks in the air, making it a fun and thrilling event to watch.

The last event will be the ADMSC Sailing Race on 26 April 2025. In this race, sailors will compete using their boats, trying to move quickly and smartly through the water using wind power.

These five events will bring together top athletes from different parts of the world. They will also help keep the UAE’s history of sailing and water sports strong. Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club is making sure that both new and old water sports continue to grow and excite people in the future.
