Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team to Race Globally in 2025 Season

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Abu Dhabi Powerboat Team, proudly representing the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club, is getting ready for a busy and exciting international tour this summer. The team will take part in some of the biggest and most respected marine sports championships around the world, carrying the UAE flag high.

This journey is guided and supported by Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club. His vision is to strengthen the UAE’s role in international sports and to make the country a world leader in marine sports.

Competing on the World Stage
In 2025, the team will compete in four major world championships:

  • UIM F1H2O World Championship
  • UIM F2 World Championship
  • UIM F4 World Championship
  • World Jet Ski Championship

These events will take the team to 16 different cities across the world. It’s a packed schedule, showing the UAE’s strong dedication to staying at the top and reaching even greater goals in marine sports.

Season Starts in Italy
The season will kick off in Brindisi, Italy, with the first round of the F2 World Championship from 27th to 29th June. Star racer Rashed Al Qemzi will return to defend his title, supported by his teammate Mansoor Al Mansoori.

In the Jet Ski World Championship, Rashed Al Mulla, who was last season’s world champion in the freestyle category, will compete in three major rounds. He aims to keep his world champion title with a strong performance again this year.

F1H2O Team Looks Stronger
The F1H2O team will participate in five key rounds. Leading the team is experienced racer Thani Al Qemzi, joined by new teammate Erik Stark from Sweden. Erik’s addition is expected to bring even more strength to the team and boost their chances of winning at the global level.

Focus on Young Emirati Talent
As part of its plan to develop future Emirati sports stars, the team will also include Salem Al Yafei in two rounds of the F4 World Championship. This shows the club’s commitment to giving young UAE athletes the chance to grow and shine on the world stage.

Ready for the Challenge
The Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club shared that the team is fully ready for the upcoming season. With strong preparation and a determined spirit, the team is focused on achieving more victories and making the UAE proud. Their goal is to keep raising the UAE flag high on international winners' podiums and show the world the strength of Emirati talent.
