Abu Dhabi Talks Show Progress in Russia-Ukraine Peace Efforts

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, said the second round of trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States in Abu Dhabi produced positive results.

He stated that both rounds of discussions held in Abu Dhabi were productive and constructive. According to him, the meetings helped identify areas of common ground that can be used as a base for further progress in the peace process.

Sheikh Abdullah said the talks reflected the seriousness of all sides in pushing diplomatic efforts forward to end the four-year conflict.

He also expressed appreciation to Russia, Ukraine, and the United States, saying that their cooperation has played an important role in building mutual trust. He added that these relations support mediation efforts and help bridge differences between the two sides, contributing to peaceful and long-term solutions.

The UAE foreign minister also thanked US President Donald Trump and his team for their efforts in supporting the talks and moving the political track forward. He said the international community is hoping for positive outcomes that will strengthen global stability and help bring the crisis to an end.

Sheikh Abdullah added that the UAE remains committed to providing a supportive environment for dialogue, reducing differences, and advancing peaceful solutions.
