Abu Dhabi Launches Tourism Service Rewards Program

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) has started a new Incentives and Rewards program during the Arabian Travel Market 2025. This program is meant to honour and reward people and businesses who give excellent service to visitors. The goal is to make Abu Dhabi an even better place for tourists by celebrating those who help create great travel experiences.

This program will include many types of businesses like hotels, shops, restaurants, tourist attractions, and others that visitors often use. It will reward those who work hard and give top-quality service. DCT Abu Dhabi wants to show how important these people are in giving visitors a warm and smooth experience during their time in the city.

Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, the Director General of the Tourism Sector at DCT Abu Dhabi, said, “Frontline workers and tourism businesses are the heart of Abu Dhabi’s visitor experience. This initiative empowers them, celebrates their passion, and inspires even greater levels of service. Through recognition programmes such as this, we are investing in the future of our tourism sector while ensuring seamless experiences for every visitor.”

The program is also part of Abu Dhabi’s bigger plan to become one of the top travel destinations in the world. It focuses on providing great service and unforgettable experiences to every visitor.

To support this effort, DCT Abu Dhabi has also started a new Visitor Experience (VX) Academy. This academy was created in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches. The VX Academy will train people working in tourism so they can improve their skills and provide even better service. These trainings will help them qualify for the new rewards program.

DCT Abu Dhabi is encouraging all businesses in the tourism field to join this effort. Those who work hard to give great service and follow Abu Dhabi’s quality standards can be chosen for awards and special recognition.
