Delhi: A 15-year-old schoolboy was fatally assaulted in Mangolpuri, Delhi, following a clash with other minors on Friday. The student, a Class 10 pupil, was attacked after school hours and later succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
According to reports, the altercation began in the morning when the victim had a disagreement with the primary accused. In the afternoon, the accused, accompanied by some unidentified boys, allegedly beat the student. Police noted that there were no visible external injury marks on the victim’s body.

Delhi Police have registered a case, apprehended most of the children involved in the incident under the Children in Conflict with Law (CCL) category, and launched a full investigation.
In a separate incident in Rohini, a minor girl was critically injured after being attacked with a blade while returning home from school. The victim, dressed in her school uniform, was attacked by a group of girls, resulting in severe injuries on her face and back. She required 50 stitches following the assault.
Authorities have stated that the attack stemmed from a dispute and the matter is under investigation by the Aman Vihar police.
Both incidents have raised concerns over rising violence involving minors in Delhi, prompting police to review preventive measures around schools.
Investigations are ongoing in both cases, with police focusing on apprehending all involved and determining the motives behind these violent incidents.
