Sharjah gears up for an adrenaline-packed sporting spectacle as the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) announces the “Tigers Obstacle Race,” set to take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Starting from the scenic Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, the event blends fitness, adventure, and the city’s stunning eastern coast landmarks.
This year, the race introduces new obstacles across Khorfakkan, offering participants an exciting challenge that tests speed, strength, and agility. The course caters to all ages and fitness levels, ensuring everyone can take part. Children can enjoy 600-metre and 1,200-metre races, while amateur runners tackle a 4-kilometre course. The main 8-kilometre race invites professional and seasoned participants to compete for cash prizes totaling AED 18,000, awarded to the top three male and female finishers.

Spanning from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Tigers Obstacle Race is expected to attract participants from across the region. With its combination of physical challenge, scenic surroundings, and competitive spirit, the race promises a memorable experience for sports enthusiasts of all ages.
