Al Dhafra Innovates Bootcamp Empowers Emirati Youth

Al Dhafra Youth Council, in collaboration with AD Ports Group Youth Council and powered by Stratecis, has concluded a four-day youth innovation bootcamp titled AlDhafra Innovates at Madinat Zayed Majlis, part of Majalis Abu Dhabi under the Citizens and Community Affairs Office of the Presidential Court.

The bootcamp, held with the participation of 25 shortlisted Emirati youth aged 18–35 from the Al Dhafra Region, focused on applying design thinking and AI tools to create solutions for community challenges. Participants worked in teams and advanced through four stages: empathising with local issues, ideating AI-driven solutions, prototyping concepts, and pitching their projects to a panel of experts.

Organisers said the event provided intensive training in leadership, teamwork, innovation, and entrepreneurial thinking, enabling youth to turn creativity and passion into impactful solutions. It also highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in fostering innovation and youth development.

Participants identified key outcomes, including the role of mentorship in guiding youth-led initiatives, the power of collaborative problem-solving, and the potential of AI in community-driven projects.

At the conclusion, Al Dhafra Youth Council extended thanks to all partners, mentors, and participants, reaffirming its commitment to further initiatives that enhance youth engagement and innovation in the region. The momentum is supported by a recent MoU signed between AD Ports Group and Al Dhafra, underscoring their shared focus on empowering youth and advancing sustainable development.
