A fresh round of Israeli airstrikes has struck Lebanon’s capital, Beirut, in ongoing operations aimed at Hezbollah.
Eyewitnesses reported numerous explosions throughout the city, with plumes of smoke visible from affected areas. Over the past three weeks, these continued attacks have reportedly forced more than 1 million people to flee their homes across Lebanon, deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Israel maintains that its strikes are directed at Hezbollah positions, but the widespread destruction and mass displacement have sparked serious international concern.
The situation in the region remains extremely tense as hostilities show no signs of abating.
