The United Arab Emirates has sent another large aid ship to help the people in Gaza. This is the eighth ship sent as part of “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.” The ship is named Khalifa and it left from Khalifa Port in Abu Dhabi today. It is heading to El Arish Port in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
What Is Inside The Ship?
This ship is very important because it is carrying a lot of essential supplies for people in need. It is the biggest aid ship that the UAE has sent so far. The total weight of all the supplies on the ship is 7,166 tonnes. This means the ship is carrying very heavy and large amounts of food, medical items, and other things that people need to survive and feel safe.

Breakdown Of Supplies Onboard
Here is what the ship is carrying:
4,372 tonnes of food items: This includes different types of food that will help families and children get enough nutrition every day.
1,433 tonnes of shelter materials: This means there are tents, tarpaulin sheets, and other things that will help people build temporary homes if their houses are damaged.
860 tonnes of medical supplies: These include medicines, equipment, and tools that doctors and nurses need to treat sick or injured people.
501 tonnes of health supplies: These are things like hygiene kits, soaps, sanitary products, and other materials to keep people clean and healthy.
Why Is This Aid Important?
The people in Gaza are facing many problems. Many of them do not have enough food to eat. Some of them have been injured or have fallen sick due to lack of clean water and proper medical care. Many families have lost their homes, and children are not able to go to school peacefully.
This aid from the UAE is part of their efforts to support the Palestinian people during this hard time. It will help many families get the basic things they need to stay alive, stay healthy, and feel safer.
What Is Operation Chivalrous Knight 3?
The UAE started Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to send humanitarian help to Gaza. Under this operation, they have sent several aid planes and ships before. This current shipment is part of that larger mission. It shows how the UAE cares for the Palestinian people and wants to stand by them when they are in pain or difficulty.
How Much Aid Has UAE Sent Till Now?
Before this ship, the UAE had already sent a lot of help to Gaza. With this latest shipment, the total aid sent by the UAE has reached 77,266 tonnes. This is a huge amount of relief material sent over time to help the people in Gaza survive the crisis.
Who Is Helping UAE In This Mission?
The UAE is not working alone. Many of its charitable and humanitarian organisations are working together to make sure these supplies reach the people who need them the most. These organisations check what is needed urgently and then arrange all the items quickly to send them on planes and ships.
Where Is The Ship Going And Why?
The ship is going to El Arish Port in Egypt. From there, the aid will be taken by trucks to the Gaza Strip. El Arish is the closest port that can be used to send supplies to Gaza quickly. This way, food and medicines can reach children, families, old people, and hospitals as soon as possible.
UAE’s Commitment To Humanity
This mission is part of the UAE’s belief in humanity and peace. The leaders of the UAE have always said that they will support people who are facing hard times. They believe that helping people without thinking of religion or nationality is the best value anyone can follow.
In the past too, the UAE has helped people from many countries whenever there has been a crisis or a disaster. Whether it is an earthquake, war, flood, or any other tragedy, the UAE has sent food, medicines, tents, and rescue teams to help save lives.
Statements From UAE Authorities
Officials in the UAE have said that they will continue sending aid to Gaza in the coming days. They said this is not the end, and that they will keep working to make sure that families in Gaza do not feel alone in their suffering.
They also thanked all the volunteers, staff, and organisations who worked day and night to arrange this huge shipment. Packing thousands of tonnes of food and medical supplies in a short time is not an easy job. It needs careful planning, teamwork, and the spirit of helping others.
How Does This Help Children And Families?
Children in Gaza need food to grow strong. They need milk, grains, fruits, and vegetables to keep their body and brain healthy. The medical supplies will help doctors treat babies and elders who are sick. The shelter materials will help families build safe spaces to sleep in peace. Hygiene kits will help girls and women take care of their personal health needs.
All these things are very important for children to study, play, and live like normal kids anywhere in the world.
Future Aid Plans
The UAE has not said exactly when the next ship will leave, but they have promised that they will keep sending supplies until the situation in Gaza becomes better. The UAE also continues to work with other countries and international organisations to find ways to bring peace and stability to the region.
This mission shows the kind and caring side of the UAE. Sending the largest aid ship Khalifa filled with food, medicines, and shelter items proves that the UAE stands with Gaza in this time of need. It also teaches us that helping people in pain is one of the biggest duties of humanity. We should always stand by those who are suffering and share what we have with them.
