Sheikh Khaled Attends UAE Police College Graduation Ceremony

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended the graduation ceremony of the Police College in Abu Dhabi.

The ceremony marked the graduation of the 37th cohort of cadet officers, the 40th cohort of male university graduates, and the 24th cohort of female university graduates. A total of 456 graduates completed their training, including 12 cadets from Arab countries and 52 international participants from 35 countries under the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Academy Exchange Program.

Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, was also present at the event.

Sheikh Khaled congratulated the graduates and urged them to use their advanced training, skills, and knowledge to strengthen modern policing systems. He highlighted the importance of digital solutions and artificial intelligence in security operations to protect communities and keep pace with global security developments.

The ceremony began with a military parade and the UAE national anthem performed by the police band. Graduates showcased military drills demonstrating leadership, discipline, and professionalism.

Sheikh Khaled awarded the Sword of Honour to Officer Cadet Obaid Khalifa Obaid Al Kaabi, who ranked first overall among cadet officers.
Top graduates were also honoured:

• Mayed Issa Yousef Tweer Al Suweidi – first place among male university graduates

• Salama Ateeq Mohammed Obaid Al Dhaheri – first place among female university graduates

• Ibrahim Abdulbaset Mohammed Al Sawalma (Jordan) – top Arab student

• Inar Vic Valencia Florece (Philippines) – top international university graduate

• Paige Celeste Hulgin (USA) – top IACP Exchange Program graduate

Brigadier General Walid Salem Al Shamsi, Commander of the Police College, said the graduates represent the future protectors of the nation and reflect the UAE’s strong commitment to security and stability. He added that international participation shows the college’s global reputation and cooperation with the IACP.

The ceremony concluded with the handover of the Police College flag to the next cohort and a pledge of loyalty by the graduates. Sheikh Khaled later took commemorative photos with the graduates.

The UAE Police College continues to train elite security personnel using advanced technology, modern training methods, and artificial intelligence to build a future-ready security system.
