UAE GPSSA Partners with Core42 to Boost AI and Smart Government Services

The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has taken a significant step towards digital transformation by signing a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Core42, a G42 company specialising in sovereign cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure. The announcement came during GPSSA’s participation in GITEX Global 2025, highlighting the UAE’s commitment to becoming a global leader in smart government services.

Under this partnership, GPSSA and Core42 will develop a state-of-the-art data and AI platform. The platform is designed to enhance customer experience and provide decision-makers with advanced insights based on deep data analysis. By integrating AI and cloud technology, GPSSA aims to streamline operations, improve service delivery, and ensure proactive governance that anticipates the needs of citizens and employers.

Faras Al Ramahi, Director-General of GPSSA, emphasised the transformative potential of the collaboration, saying, “This is a strategic step towards achieving our leadership’s vision of building the government of the future. With Core42, we are creating a smart, AI-powered system that redefines how we serve citizens while supporting the goals of the Zero Government Bureaucracy program and the National AI Strategy.”

The MoU aligns with the UAE’s sovereign cloud initiative, ensuring that all sensitive pension and social security data is hosted securely within the country. The collaboration guarantees the highest standards of data security, digital governance, and compliance with the “We the Emirates 2031” vision. Core42 will leverage its AI platform to design future use cases, enabling GPSSA to deliver proactive and personalised government services.
